BROOKLYN, N.Y., Nov 11, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Colosa, a leading developer of open source business process management (BPM) software that enables small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to simplify workflow through the automation of paper-based processes, has created and launched a new library of business process templates called ProcessMaker Library.

The new templates complement Colosa's open source business process management software, ProcessMaker, which is available free for download at http://sourceforge.net/projects/processmaker.

ProcessMaker Library will be available to business managers and owners that want to simplify or implement business processes to increase the efficiency and structure of their businesses. Current downloads available include basic process management workflows and an expense report workflow. The templates are available for download at http://library.processmaker.com.

New templates will be added every month to the ProcessMaker Library, which will be a repository of a range of business process templates. Simple to use, users can read the workflow description, and then choose to download the template and import it to ProcessMaker with the click of a button. Templates offer a first-hand look at advanced ProcessMaker features, and can be adapted for Enterprise use.
